How DampFree Works

 When DampFree's all-natural crystals are exposed to air, they absorb excess moisture and gradually dissolve into a liquid brine (a salty water solution). DampFree never dries the air to a level that harms plants, animals, or clothing. Our patented formula is safe for septic systems and environmentally friendly. DampFree moisture absorbers work in three phases:

DampFree crystals start working immediately to absorb excess moisture from the air.  The crystals harden and form a solid mass. They then begin to dissolve, and the liquid will start dripping into  the  lower  chamber. It may take a few days before the liquid starts to drip.

The   accumulated   moisture  will  drip  into  the   lower chamber, and approximately half to three-quarters of the crystals will dissolve.

All    DampFree    crystals will dissolve,      and the lower chamber  will  fill  with  liquid.         In scented DampFree moisture absorbers, a small line  of fragrance beads will remain in the upper chamber;       dispose of them in the trash. Empty the liquid into the toilet and refill the basket with crystals.
